The workshop of gems and dragons

Hello!
CMy name is Ksenia. My main profession is far away from the world of art, but I really love handiwork in various techniques - often in the fantasy genre, but not only. I have always been attracted by the beauty of the stone, and now I have the opportunity to work with it. I have always loved fantasy - and now, dragons and other fabulous creatures are born in my workshop. I would be glad to those who share my interest in these areas of life.

About my store

What materials do I create jewelry from?
Jewelry in my store is mostly made of natural gemstones. I also work with synthetic stones and their imitation, but in this case it is always indicated in the description. I have nothing against ennobling stone or materials that imitate it, but I always want to know what exactly I wear. So, I consider as necessary to inform my customers about stuff jewelry made from. In addition to the stone, I also love freshwater pearls very much - in all the richness of their forms and the variety of their natural and tinted coloring. I also work with epoxy resin, cast stone, polymer clay. The main scene is a small workshop, which has everything you need to process stone and create jewelry.

A little bit about my workshop
For working with stone and other materials a specially equipped workshop is needed: machines for sawing, grinding, polishing stone, dremels, drills and tumbling - all this requires a place and certain working conditions. When sawing and processing, the stone produces a lot of dust, and in addition, it also heats up, so water supply and strong ventilation are necessary. The machines require a powerful ground connection and a dedicated voltage line, different from the usual household one. And, of course, light for each machine - otherwise it will not work. And, of course, a ventilation duct for working with small forms.

Dragons and other creatures

Very different dragons live here. From one and a half meters to 2 centimeters. From paper mache, polymer clay, epoxy resin, etc. My dragons have their own names and history, character and character traits. On my blog, I post photos and videos from the process of creating dragons and other fabulous creatures.
